Owner

Channon purchased TRENDz in April 2008 and she and her husband Chris Ryan completely renovated the salon. Channon started her career in corporate America, her background is in Human Resource, Management, Marketing and Customer Relations.

Channon is excited to offer an upscale salon without driving to Green Hills or Cool Springs.

TRENDz offers the following services; Hair, nails, massage, facials, waxing, tanning and Botox.

JOE BARBAGALLO Senior Stylist - Salon Manager

Joe is a native from New York; he grew up in New Jersey. Joe moved to South Florida and worked at a salon in Boca Raton for 27 years. Joe specializes in color, color correction, cuts and perms. Joe also owned his own salon for 4 years in Highlands, North Carolina. Joe relocated to Nashville in June of 2008 and has been at TRENDz since its inception with a new ownership and brand new total renovation. Joe is very excited to be a part of the TRENDz team and looks forward to its continued success.

TIFFANY PARIS Senior Stylist

Tiffany has been creating hair designs for over 15 years in the Grassland area and is still excited to bring an array of conservative and trendy styles to her clients. Tiffany specializes in color and color correction. Tiffany’s greatest reward is making each client feel more beautiful when they step out of TRENDz with herself motivation and ability to please each and every client. Tiffany started with the new TRENDz in May of 2008. Tiffany is the proud mother of her adorable son Brandon.

SARA SHANKLE Senior Stylist

Sara has been a dedicated hair stylist since 1972 when she graduated from Nestles Cosmetology School in Paris, TN. Sara is also a “PHD” in Helix hair design; she completed the Helix training in Pigeon Forge, TN and continues to stay current with new Helix techniques through continued education opportunities. Sara has been a Schwarzkopf Color Specialist for over 8 years and continually expanse her color skills with annual seminar participation. Sara is skilled in all phases of color, color correction and perms. Sara has an extraordinary love for her weekly ladies. They bring such a unique value to TRENDz. Sara enjoys taking the time to get to know her clients and provide them with the care and service they expect and deserve.

ABBY CRUM Junior Stylist

Abby grew up one hour south of Chicago and chose to move to Nashville to attend Trevecca Nazarene University as well as going to school for cosmetology. While studying theatre at Trevecca Abby had the opportunity to design hair and make-up for their productions. Abby graduated from Trevecca in May of 2008, and married her best friend Aaron in July 2008. Abby has been a TRENDz team member since May of 2008, she specializes in color and Cinderella hair extensions. Abby enjoys creating new looks for her clients especially through color or extensions.

RHEONNA PAVUSA
Manicurist

Rheonna Pavusa is a professional nail technician with more than 30 years experience in the beauty industry, in Nashville for the past 12 years. She is a member of the Elite Nail Experts and is certified by Creative Nail Masters, both of which require extensive training. Also, Rheonna was voted the #1 Nail Tech in Southern Exposure Magazine's 2006 Sizzle Awards. Previously, she was also an educator for Alpha9 nail systems. Before she began in the beauty industry, she worked in Retail Marketing and Management in California.

TRENDz is excited to introduce Traci as one of our newest team members. Traci has been doing Botox, Restylane and Perlane injections for over 10 years and will now be offering her services at TRENDz by appointment. Traci has worked in the medical plastic surgical field for over 16 years and has assisted in countless surgical procedures. As a registered nurse her experience in the sue of cosmetic Botox and injectable filler included not only ten years of providing actual injections but also training in the most recent techniques.

TERRA WILSON Aesthetician

Terra was raised in Nashville and attended Volunteer State Community College before deciding on her career in aesthetics. Terra received her training at the Beauty Institute in Cool Springs and graduated in 2007. Terra became a TRENDz team member in May of 2008. She specializes in facials and back treatments as well as customizing treatments to each individual’s skincare needs and goals. Terra also offers other aesthetic services such as chemical peels and waxing. TRENDz uses Image skin care products.

ASHLEA CLAIBORNE LMT

Ashlea came to TRENDz with over 10 years of massage experience and move to Tennessee from the Sunny Virginia Beach area to marry one of our local “Brentwood Gentlemen”. Ashlea simply loves what she does and it is certainly felt during her fantastic massage sessions. Ashlea is a “self claimed nerd” and enjoys researching and attending classes in the latest healing and massage techniques.
